Who I am….
Hi my name is Jordynn. I am a current Registered Nurse with 10 years of clinical experience working in public health. A large porton of my career has been working in rural Urgent Care Settings in country Victoria. This experience has allowed me to work with a large cross section of the community from infants, aged populations and responding to highly acute presentations.
I also work at a secondary school delivering VET Allied Health, a career I began in 2023 and a role I enjoy greatly being able to teach future healthcare workers. LASTLY I work as a Registered Nurse at Yarrawonga Health an organisation I have been apart of for almost 7 years.
During COVID I spent my evenings studying. In 2021 I completed my Rural and Isolated Practice Registered Nurse training and 2022 I obtained my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Burnt out from COVID I turned to education and found joy in delivering First Aid training. Fast forward to 2024 I have taken a deep breath put my name to something and have started North East First Aid Training.
Seeing the pressure on hospitals and ambulance services, now more than ever individuals and businesses need to be informed on how to provide effective first aid care in the event of an emergency.
